This policy explains what information Almost Heaven Expeditions collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information you provide — your name and email address. Purchase records — which trails you bought, when, and the amounts. Limited technical data — basic logs and device/usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly under its own privacy and security standards. We receive only limited information such as confirmation of payment and the last digits/brand of your card.
We use Resendto send transactional email — sign-in links, email verification, password resets, purchase receipts, and notifications when a trail you own is updated. We don't send marketing email without your consent, and we don't sell your data.
File storage
GPX files and images are stored in private cloud storage (Vercel Blob). Trail files are delivered only to accounts that own the corresponding trail, through authenticated, expiring download links.
Cookies and sessions
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
How we share information
We share data only with the service providers that power the platform (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, our hosting and database providers), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may ask us to close your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, email support@almostheavenx.com.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
